Some Sneak Peak

Last week was a mess for me trying to handle different tasks all together (and they still not done yet!) @_@ I realize there's a pattern in my life which reminiscent of an ebb and flow wave. At times you can't find anything to do, other times you just have too much things to do. Nonetheless it will make you appreciate free time even more when you are busy, or longing for something to work on when you are free :)

I have been planning and designing some illustrations for tea party or birthday party invitations lately. Here's some sneak peak on the sticker sets that might come along...

Also, the other day I've found these adorable mini paper punches. The packaging is so cute and looks kinda like little creamer container! I'm still wondering on how to make good use of them :D

Handmade Whimsical Tags

Just wanna say thank you to the beautiful comments and encouragements I have gotten from last post :)

Recently, I find myself busy keeping up with the shop updates with new designs and illustrations, my day job and my rest time. I kinda like the way it is now, take a day off when I'm not in the mood, or just put them aside for a while when I'm too busy. It's a good feeling when everything is more or less organized in a nice way :)

On the other hand, I was getting really emotional over this heart-touching poem from another friend of mine, Kat. I think somehow I was deeply connected to it as at times I will feel unsure in my life of path. There are a lot of uncertainties in front of me and I'm not sure whether will I able to handle them. Yet, I can only grow stronger when any obstacle is overcome :) Please go to this LINK to read her beautiful poem!

Those Stories You Told Me

Those stories that you told me, every night in my dreams. I will still remember, when I wake up in the morning.

This 'Those Stories You Told Me' is the 4th illustration in my 'Cumulous Whispers' series. Available at my shop HERE for 8x10 or 5x7.

Recently I've been having the feeling of so close yet so far to certain thing that I really want.  And it's driving me crazy! Oh how much I wish I could just one step closer to it :)

Update Tonight

A quiet Saturday afternoon and finishing up my new girl illustration, which will be in the shop tonight :) Max is taking his short nap beside me, snuggling in his towel / play toy / blanket. His hair is getting longer now. I can't help but to snap few photos of his sleepy face XD

He just gets too sleepy and ignores me XD I wonder what is he dreaming of...

Spring Stickers / Sneak Peak

Just added 2 new stickers set to my Whimsical shop Here, taken from my illustrations of 'I Love Spring Time' and 'Can You Hear the Whispers of My Heart'. Hopefully they can be something lovely for the spring time, or even the coming Easter~

Also, here is a little sneak peak for the girl illustration, the fourth in the Cumulous Whispers series. Just something about what's going on in my mind lately. However she is not quite finished yet, I'm looking forward to finish her real soon :)

Whimsy Pillow Cases

I have been thinking a lot lately about my career directions in this 2011. One month has passed and another 11 more to go. If my slacking attitude is still here, I might achieve less than I would imagined...

Hence, working harder is a must! By saying that, I have added two more designs to my envelop shop XD The 'Can You Hear the Whispers in My Heart' & 'Glad to Have You by My Side' are now available Here as pillow cases! More will be added soon :)

The Silent Whispers

There are a lot of whispering from my hearts that I wish you could know, but somehow I can't put them into words. So instead, I hope 'they' will let you know my thoughts...

New Frame / Whimsy Updates

The rain has finally stopped just before the day of Chinese New Year. The sun came out and the temperature in my room has risen to an uncomfortable state. Now I kinda missed the cooling breeze of the rainy days... Oh man, I'm so hard to please XD

The other day, I bought two white frames (I love white colour!) to frame some of my works :) They are looking good and tidy on my desk now. That will keep me motivated to create more~ 

Pardon for my shaky hands, I wish I could take nicer photos :)

I have added some new tags in the Whimsy Whimsical Paper Goods. These Love and Thank You tags with pink hearts are something different from my usual forest animals collection. They appeared much simpler and more elegant :)
