Happy Easter & Whimsical Spring Notecards

Whimsy Whimsical's new spring collection of notecards is here~

I love the polka dots, scalloped shapes and the sweet subtle color palettes :) 

I will be taking things slower especially in Month of May to finish off few deadlines and also get some rest *yes, I need some rest I need some rest I need some rest* April has been a really busy month for me when everything clashes together and I have overworked myself. As much as I enjoyed the fulfillment of completing each task, I hardly concentrate on the things that I should be paying more attention to. Hopefully after the rest, I will get to spend more time in illustrating again~

Recently I've been listening to a lot of B.O.B's 'Airplanes' and happened to discover this beautiful article about shooting stars by Laura. It just touches my heart deeply when she mentioned that shooting stars aren't really rare, but just how rare we stop our busy lives and look up in the sky. It is just overwhelming, especially at this moment :)

Whimsy Pillow Cases II

You know, sometimes I do think I'm a bit workaholic. I even squeeze time to design some pillow covers, even in this busy schedule...... -_______- But I guess there is a reason why I overworked and make myself overwhelmed with everything. Perhaps I'm feeling a little insecure about my future... or could be I'm lacking confidence in what I'm doing... Oh well, anyhow, maybe it's time for me to take a break some time in May to recharge :)

Here are the new whimsical pillow covers that I have designed. Despite the hectic workloads and heaps of paperworks, I'm happy with how the pillow covers turn out~ I might even order one to reward myself :) I'm still considering should I pick 'Just For You' or 'Oh, Butterflies...' pillow covers XD Would love to see them on my desk chair!

Also, the other day I have received a snail mail from a good friend, all the way from Australia! It feels very nice to see something personal other than bills and advertisements flyers...! Moreover it's a handmade card!

Whimsy Greeting Cards

I have been lacking of new post and blogs-checking lately as there are too much things to deal with in these few months @_@ It feels like tons and tons of paper works piling on top of your shoulders *take a deep breath* I kinda feel bad to post only once a week nonetheless I will try my best to have new updates every week :)

As spring has arrived and I've decided to add more colors to the shop~ The soft pastel colors of these whimsical greeting cards are my favorites and the scalloped circle, ribbons and polka dots have added some sweetness to them too! Hope you will love them as much as I do~

Party Invitation Sets

Here are some new invitation sets for the coming spring party (or any party!), addition to my previous sets of the rabbits and the bear & fox :D :D

Whimsy Whimsical Forest is expanding by welcoming little skunk (with the colorful party hat!) to join the family~ I will have more of his illustrations very soon in future :)

Also, months ago I have a request to custom an illustration for a very special person. She has framed the illustration in a very very cute heart shaped frame as a housewarming gift for her friend!!! So pretty!

New Postcards Set

I'm having new postcards set in the shop now, printed from some of my girl illustrations :D They come in set with matching envelopes and envelope seals! They have been wondering in my mind for quite some time and I have decided to give them a go~

Currently, I'm the progress of changing the look of my girl illustration shop. She definitely need a new identity different from whimsy family *They can't be sharing the same background all the time @_@* I'm trying a white background with purple flowers and berries. I think it's looking cleaner and fresh now!

Oh goodness, there are several new updates for my whimsy family but I'm just too busy to post them into blog yet! I definitely need some break!! @_@ Perhaps sometime next week!
